% 05.07.2019 C.M. No. 29646/2019 By this application, the respondent seeks further time to comply with our order dated 03.04.2019 whereby we directed the respondents to take a decision on the representation of the petitioners positively within 30 days of the passing of the order.

Mr. Makhija submits that the application was moved on 29.05.2019 and, in the meantime, further development has taken place. The draft reply to the representation has been prepared and has been sent to the Ministry of Defence for its approval.

Considering the fact that the order was passed on 03.04.2019 and 30 days time was granted, which expired on 03.05.2019 and the fact that over two months elapsed thereafter, we are not inclined to grant extension of time as prayed for. However, we grant one week time to the respondents to comply with the order dated 03.04.2019, failing which appropriate action may be taken against the officers responsible for non-compliance. The application stands disposed of.
