The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking interim bail for a period of 45 days on the ground that his mother is required to undergo a knee surgery and there is no one to attend to her. 2.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also states that the petitioner was released on interim bail on prior occasions and there is no allegation that he had misused his liberty.

The fact that the petitioner's mother is required to undergo surgery on 29.05.2020 has been verified.

In the aforesaid circumstances, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. The petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail for a period of 30 days from the date of his release on his furnishing a Personal Bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- to the satisfaction of the
Jail Superintendent. This is also subject to the following further conditions:- a) The petitioner shall provide a contact number and ensure that he is reachable on it at all times;
b) The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi;
c) That the petitioner shall telephonically contact the concerned Jail Superintendent on Monday of each calendar week. 5.
The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 6.
A copy of this order be electronically communicated to the concerned jail authorities.
