The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.1 to release the petitioner's passport. 2.
Mr Ravi Prakash, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1, submits that the petitioner's passport was not impounded but was lost. He states that the said passport has since been traced out. He further states that the said passport would be handed over to the petitioner on his approaching the concerned authorities.

The petitioner is directed to approach the Regional Passport Officer on 21.10.2019 at 10.30 a.m. and the petitioner's passport would be handed over to him in person.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 5.
