This application is, accordingly, disposed of. W.P.(C) 3348/2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby directing the respondent university to release the pensionary and other terminal benefits of the petitioner as the petitioner was retired on superannuation on 31.12.2017 from the post of Assistant Administrative Officer in Mass Communication.
To this effect, the petitioner while relying upon the judgment of this Court and the Hon'ble Supreme Court and made representation dated 27.02.2018 to the Vice-Chancellor of respondent, however, till date, there is no response received from the said respondent.
Keeping in view the averments made in the said petition and the submission of counsel for the petitioner, I hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2018 within four weeks from the receipt of this order. Needless to state that the decision shall be taken in view of the judgment referred by the petitioner in the said representation. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
