% 20.01.2016 Issue notice. Ms Megha Bahl, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr Avi Singh, learned Addl. Standing Counsel (Crl.), on advance notice, states that in view of the circumstance that the petitioners are a newly-wed couple who are apprehending threat at the hands of the family of petitioner No.1, the state shall afford adequate protection to them. The beat constable of the concerned area shall also be sensitized in this behalf. The telephone number of the SHO of the concerned police station as well as the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioners in order to enable them to contact the police in the event of any threat or apprehension.
Ordered accordingly.
In view of the circumstance that no direction is sought against the respondent No.2 to 4, the family members of petitioner No.1, it is not considered necessary to issue notice to them. With the above directions the writ petition is disposed of. Dasti.
