The present contempt petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Court Act seeks following prayers:- "i. Pass an order thereby initiating contempt proceedings against the respondent for willfully and deliberately disobeying / violating the order dt.02.03.2023 passed by Hon'ble High Court of Delhi in W.P.(C) No.2694/2023 titled as "Mahipal Singh V/s Govt. of NCT of Delhi" and also punish him/ her according to law;

ii. Pass any other order/ relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents;"

Vide order dated 02.04.2025 learned predecessor Bench of this Court had directed that representation dated 13.08.2020 had to be decided. 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the same shall be decided within a period of 2 weeks.
