The hearing has been conducted through video conferencing. 2.

By this application the petitioner seeks interim bail on the ground that the petitioner's son Master Sukur aged 5 and a half years is suffering from liver infection and that she has to look after him. 3.

Pursuance to issuance of notice a status report has been filed indicating that the petitioner has been found involved in FIR No. 3/2020 under Section 20 NDPS Act and 2068 grams of Ganja has been recovered. According to learned counsel for the petitioner the alleged recovery is of 2 kg 280 grams of Ganja. 4.

Charge-sheet has since been filed. Though the status report is silent about the verification in respect of the petitioner's son's ailment, however learned APP for the State on instructions submits that the medical documents of the petitioner's son Master Sukur have been verified and have been found to be genuine. He, however, states that the child is stable. 5.

Considering the fact that the medical documents of the petitioner's son who is aged about 5 and a half years old shows that he is suffering from liver infection and the only person to look after the petitioner's son is the mother-inBAIL APPLN.942/2020

law of the petitioner, this Court deems it fit to grant interim bail to the petitioner.

It is therefore directed that the petitioner be released on interim bail for a period of 60 days on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent Jail/ Duty Magistrate. The petitioner and the surety will also furnish the mobile phone numbers which they would keep in operation mode during the period of interim bail of the petitioner. 7.

Petition is disposed of.
