The present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, seeks the following prayers: - "a) Issue, order or direction directing the Ld. Trial Court to expedite and dispose of the pending matrimonial proceedings within a fixed time frame (preferably within 6 months); pending Before ld. Principal judge karkardooma court dated since 2018, MISC DJ/12/2025, IN THE MATTER OF ANIL KUMAR V/S KARUNA for speedy trial of divorce of petitioner and respondent.
b) Direct the Ld. Trial Court to take up the matter on priority basis and ensure continuous proceedings without unnecessary delay and without valid reasons granting adjournment.
c) Pass appropriate directions for day-to-day hearing, if deemed fit and proper;
d) Pass any other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

The present petition is disposed of requesting learned Principal Judge, Family Courts (Shahdara), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, to expedite the proceedings in MISC DJ/12/2025 in case titled as, "Anil Kumar v. Karuna" pending before it, without giving any undue adjournment to either of the parties, and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible. 4.
