This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 6 months for publishing the Arbitral Award. 2.
The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 28.02.2025. 3.
It is stated that both the parties have addressed arguments and now the matter is only pending for pronouncement of the Award. Further, the delay occurred on account of voluminous pleadings pertaining to the arbitral proceedings.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. 6.
For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by six months to make and publish the Arbitral Award.
