A status report is stated to have been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1, however, the same is not on record. A copy of the same has been handed over by the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 during the course of hearing. It is stated therein as under:- "5. That the extended boundary walls of House no's. G-9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 34, 34/B and 35 in G block, Vijay Nagar, Delhi have been demolished. That the photographs of the demolition action showing the previous as well as the current status have been annexed as Annexure-B.
6. That after taking substantive demolition action on the above mentioned properties, the respondent/MCD even wrote a letter dated 04.01.2024 to the SHO, Ps. Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi to keep strict watch and ward of removed encroachment on the abovesaid properties. In the light of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that that he does not wish to press the present petition at this stage. He, however, seeks liberty to approach this Court in future, if so warranted, on account of any fresh unauthorized construction in the concerned property. 4.
The present petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
