% 21.05.2020 Crl.M.A. No. 6678/2020 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Bail Appln. No. 974/2020 Vide the present application, the applicant seeks transit bail for a period of four weeks under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., 1860, in relation to FIR no. 259/2020, PS Mahesh Nagar, Ambala City, Haryana, submitting inter alia to the effect that the applicant in view of the present pandemic situation needs time for appearance before the concerned authorities at the Punjab & Haryana.

It is submitted on behalf of the Government of Haryana that the

matter is presently under investigation in FIR no. 259/2020, PS Mahesh Nagar, Ambala City, and no coercive steps are presently being taken. In view thereof, the applicant be not arrested for a period of two weeks to enable his presence before the Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court subject to the applicant joining the investigation as and when required and not leaving the country.

The application is disposed of.
