The present bail application has been filed seeking interim bail in FIR No. RC220 2016 E 0022 under Sections 20 r/w 8 & 29 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station CBI EO-II EOU-V,New Delhi on the ground that the petitioner's health is not well in the Jail. 2.
A Medical Status Report dated 16.06.2020 has been placed on record, as per which the petitioner is a known case of Diabetes Mellitus type-II with Peripheral Neuropathy, Bilateral keen pain and Allergic conjunctivitis and the petitioner is stated to be under treatment of Jail duty doctors. It is further stated that the petitioner is having history of Diabetes Mellitus from past 9 years and has been reviewed by the Jail Visiting Medicine Sr. for his high sugar level as well as complaints of pain with burning sensation of Bilateral
legs and feet. It is also stated that in view of High Sugar levels and Positivel urine Ketones (Diabetic Ketoacidosis), the petitioner was admitted in MI room of CJ-01 Dispensary of Jail.

The Medical Status Report shows that the petitioner's HB1AC was 7.6% (Normal reference levels are 4.9 to 5.9) on 08.05.2020. The petitioner was also reviewed at AIIMS on 05.06.2020 and at RML Hospital on 12.06.2020, where the petitioner was advised medications and was also reviewed at Neurology Department. The petitioner's HB1AC on 08.06.2020 was stated to be 8% and RBS on 15.06.2020 was 328 mg/dl. The petitioner's blood sugar levels were fluctuating in the range of 250 mg/dl-300 mg/dl. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the petitioner is released on interim bail, the petitioner will reside with his real sister at House No. 609, Ward 22, Indira Colony, Kurukeshetra, Haryana-136118. 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has also referred to the documents of Saraswati Mission Hospital, Kurukeshetra, where he desires to undergo treatment.

Mr. Anil Grover, learned SPP for State, on instructions submits that the address of the petitioner's real sister as well as the medical documents submitted on behalf of the petitioner have been verified. He, on instructions, further submits that the petitioner is not involved in any other case and has been in custody for about 3 1⁄2 years.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to interim bail for a period of 4 weeks from the date of his release, on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of 50000/- with one surety of
the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent/Duty MM and subject to the following conditions :- (i) The petitioner shall not get in touch with the prosecution witnesses directly or indirectly and shall not make any effort to tamper with the evidence.
(ii) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of Kurukeshtra.
(iii) The petitioner shall provide his mobile telephone number to the SHO, P.S. Kotwali, Kurukeshtra, which he undertakes to keep operational at all times.
(iv) The petitioner shall further remain in touch telephonically with Inspector Jahangir on (Mob-7588415870) as provided by the counsel for the respondent, P.S. Kotwali on every Monday and Friday.
(iv) The petitioner shall surrender at the expiry of his release period.

With the above directions, the bail application is disposed of. 9.
A copy of this order be communicated to the concerned Jail Superintendent electronically.
