The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the District Magistrate under Rule 22(3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submits that he has also filed an application for maintenance before the Maintenance Tribunal. However, his grievance is that the said application has not been heard, as the Tribunal has not held any hearing in this regard. 4.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the Maintenance Tribunal is directed

to decide the petitioner's application for maintenance as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from today. 5.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. The pending application also stands disposed of.
