This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:- "i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or Certiorari or any other Writ for direction to the respondent no. 1 to 3 to quash its final order no. Estt. /115Bn/SSFC-RPS/2023/ 11327-48 dated 08.05.2023 of dismissal from service of BSF and pass an order for reinstatement In the service with all consequential benefits. ii) Or pass direction to the respondent no. 1 to 3 to grant the service pension to the petitioner for his long service as the petitioner served for 23 years, 10 months and 13 days of long service for the respondents in the interest of justice. iii) pass any other and further writ, order or direction as this Hon 'ble Court may deem fit, just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

We have been informed that a statutory appeal has been filed before the DG(BSF) on May 16, 2023, and the same is pending consideration. 3.

Mr. Himanshu Pathak appearing on behalf of the respondents submits on instructions that the same shall be disposed of within six weeks as an outer limit. The statement is taken on record. 4.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by order to be passed by the respondents, he shall seek such remedy as available in accordance with law. 5.

The petition is disposed of.
