The hearing has been conducted through Video Conferencing. 2.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner stating interalia she is a social worker by profession and lives in Delhi and that in the first week of April, 2020 she was surprised to find videos uploaded on the websites of respondents No.2 & 3 which per se are false and fabricated sex videos, uploaded in order to malign her image in the society.

The learned counsel for the petitioner says despite the matter being reported to the police authorities, no action has been taken so far, hence requests for registration of FIR and deletion of videos/images etc.

The learned ASC appearing on advance notice informs the police at police station Mandawali, on the compliant of the petitioner, has got registered FIR No.242/2020 under Section 66 of the IT Act W.P.(CRL) 847/2020
and under Section 506 of the IPC and the investigation into the alleged offences is in progress. He further submits due steps shall be taken for deletion of such videos from the websites of respondents No.2 & 3, as mentioned in paragraph No.3(c) of the petition and police shall ensure suitable action against such person who have uploaded such fake / fabricated videos.

The learned counsel for petitioner also submits the petitioner is being threatened and harassed. Since the FIR under Section 506 IPC has been registered, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police divulging the names of the person who are harassing her and the police to take suitable action against the guilty. 6.
With registration of FIR as also assurance aforesaid on behalf of the State by the learned ASC, no further directions are called for. 7.
The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of above. YOGESH KHANNA, J.
