The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.1 to protect her from respondent nos.2 and 3.

The petitioner states that she was born on 07.08.2001 and is, therefore, a major. She states that her parents (respondent nos.2 and 3) have been torturing her and forcing her to get married against her wishes. She states that she apprehends that her parents (respondent nos.2 and 3) would cause harm to her as they have threatened her that they would kill her if she did not follow their wishes. The petitioner states that in view of their conduct she has left her parental home and is now residing with one Mr Aryan Pandey at A-848, Mangolpuri, New Delhi. In the aforesaid
context, she prays that directions be given to the concerned police station to protect her.

Mr Kundu, learned ASC appearing for the State states that statement of the petitioner has been recorded and her parents were also called to the police station. They had lodged a missing person's complaint stating that their daughter (petitioner) ages eighteen years was missing. 4.
In view of the above, this Court directs the concerned SHO (SHO Mangolpuri) to examine the petitioner's complaint and provide such protection as he considers necessary. He shall provide the contact numbers of beat staff to the petitioner in order to enable her to contact them in case of any eventuality.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
