% 14.12.2024 Appellant/Insurance Company has filed an appeal for reduction of the awarded amount of compensation vide judgment dated 09.10.2013 passed by the learned Tribunal to the tune of Rs. 18,02,173/- along with interest @ 9% p.a. w.e.f. filing of Claim Petition in favour of respondent/claimant(s). On appeal being admitted to hearing, the Insurance Company has deposited the entire awarded amount along with interest before the Registrar General, Delhi High Court in terms of order dated 31.01.2014 passed by the learned Appellate Court. After due deliberations, learned counsel for the appellant has instructions to withdraw the appeal.
In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the appellant, the balance amount lying deposited with the Registrar General of this Court with interest, if any, if not released, be released The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. in favour of the respondents/claimants in terms of the award of the Tribunal.
