The present application has been filed seeking interim bail on the ground that the mother of the petitioner had suffered a brain stroke. 2.

Vide order dated 30.04.2024 direction was given to the State to verify the medical condition of the mother of the petitioner who was stated to be still in the hospital.

The Investigating Officer has verified the records provided by the learned counsel for the petitioner. From the verification report it is borne out that the mother of the petitioner was admitted in Chawla Surgical & Medical Centre on 21.04.2024 and thereafter she was discharged on 28.04.2024. 4.

The report obtained from the Chawla Surgical & Medical Centre also reveals that at the time of discharge the status of the patient was stable and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the fits were under control.

Needless to say that the present interim protection was granted by this Court premised on the submission made by the learned counsel that a coordinate bench of this Court had granted similar protection to him in respect of case registered vide FIR No. 531/2018. However, subsequently the application seeking extension of interim bail in the said case was withdrawn by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, there is no ground to extend the interim bail any further. The application seeking extension is dismissed. 7.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Jail Superintendent without any delay.
