The petitioner is seeking an electricity connection in property bearing No.205, Munirka Village, New Delhi.

Learned counsel for the respondent present in Court on receipt of the advance copy submits that the petitioner has no right whatsoever in respect of the property for which the electricity connection has been sought. It is submitted that according to the petitioner, his wife Geeta Chaudhary is the owner who already has an electricity connection bearing CA No.151452103. That apart, the petitioner admits having ownership disputes with the previous owner and the particulars of the same have not been furnished to the respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to apply for a fresh connection in the name of his wife, Geeta Chaudhary. The petitioner also agrees to furnish the particulars of the ownership dispute with the previous owner to the respondent along with the fresh application.

The writ petition and CM 2130/2016 are dismissed as withdrawn.
The respondent shall consider the fresh application of the petitioner's wife in accordance with the rules.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
