Through the present Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioner assails the correctness of the orders dated 05.08.2020 and 21.07.2020 passed by the respondent authority and Rule 20(1) of the Coast Guard (General) Rules, 1986 to the extent that it prescribes the age of retirement as 57 years. 2.

Learned counsel representing the Petitioner, in view of the judgment passed by this Court in the case of Cheeli J Ratnam v. Union of India & Ors : 2025 : DHC: 10356-DB, prays for permission to withdraw the Writ Petition in order to make representation seeking relief in terms of the judgment referred to above.
