The petitioner has filed the present application seeking interim bail for a period of two months in FIR No. 15/2013, under Sections 21/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Sections 420/468/471 of the IPC registered with Police Station Special Cell, New Delhi.

The present application was considered by this Court on 16.06.2020 and this Court had after considering the relevant facts expressed its opinion that it would be apposite to allow the present petition subject to the petitioner furnishing a verifiable address. The status report has been filed, which indicates that the address provided by the petitioner has been verified.

The petitioner has also provided the name of the surety and the credentials of the surety (David Ngurvana) have been verified. The address provided by the petitioner relates to premises that are rented to one Mr David Mithpi. Although Mr Mithpi is currently in Mizoram, his cousin Mr David K. Ngurvana was found to be present at the said address and he disclosed that he is a friend of the petitioner. 6.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail for a period of forty-five days from her release on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- and one surety (Mr David K. Ngurvana) for an equivalent amount. This is also subject to following further conditions: (a) that she shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi; (b) that she shall provide a contact number and ensure that she is reachable at all times;

(c) that the petitioner shall not directly or indirectly try and contact any of the witnesses; and (d) that the petitioner shall mark her presence on Monday of each calendar week at the concerned local police station, having jurisdiction where she resides.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 8.

A copy of this order be communicated to the concerned Jail Authorities electronically.
