Learned counsel for the petitioner states that as per status report of respondent no.3, they have no objection for de-freezing the gold account of the petitioner with respondent No. 2.

In its status report, respondent no.3 has stated that notice under Section 91 Cr.P.C was issued only to stop the transactions from the said account during the course of investigation and to provide information related to the account and there was no order to defreeze the account permanently. Respondent no.3 has specifically given its no objection for defreezing of the gold loan account.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner has made a representation to respondent no.2 for defreezing his gold account but such representation is not decided till date and has therefore made a request that directions be issued to respondent no.2 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in a time bound manner. 4.

In view of status report of respondent no.3, and the fact that petitioner has already made the representation with respondent no.2-IIFL Finance, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no2-IIFL Finance to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of three weeks. Rights and contentions of the parties are kept reserved. 5.

Copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of the Court Master to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
