This is an application seeking exemption from filing original/certified/dim documents, etc.

This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the ld. Arbitrator.

It is averred in the petition that the Petitioner and the Respondent entered into an agreement for the installation of 700 TPD ASU-4 Power Supply Facility in Oxygen Plant No. II of Bhilai Steel Plant on 12th October 2007.

Disputes arose between the parties and on 21st July, 2023 the Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA) appointed an arbitrator. The mandate of the ld. Arbitrator has expired on 20th March, 2024.

Today, ld. Counsel for the parties submit that the submissions have been concluded and the matter is reserved for award. Accordingly, the mandate is extended by four months from 20th March, 2024. 9.
