The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to quash and set aside the 19 notices dated 18th September, 2023, issued by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") under Section 123D of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 ("DMC Act") and Assessment Order dated 12th January, 2024 and the Demand Notice dated 07th February, 2024, issued under Section 154 of the DMC Act.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the respondent raises objection as regards the maintainability of the present writ petition. 3.

Responding to the same, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the present writ petition was filed when the Municipal Tax Tribunal ("MTT"), was not functional.

However, learned counsel appearing for the respondent confirms that The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 22/07/2025 at 12:29:17

the MTT is functional, as on date.

Accordingly, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the MTT to seek the statutory remedies in terms of the DMC Act. 6.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending applications, stands disposed of.
