This hearing has been held through video conferencing. 2.

This is a petition for interim maintenance during the pendency of the petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. The grievance of the Petitioner is that her petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C., filed before the Family Court, South East District, Saket Court, has not been decided and she is in dire need of money owing to the lockdown. It is, therefore, prayed that the maintenance petition be heard and decided on early date or interim maintenance be awarded.

Without going into the merits of the matter and considering that the Family Courts have started functioning, it is directed that the petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. titled Meenu Malik & Anr. v. Subodh Malik, which is pending before Ms. Madhu Jain, Judge, Family Court, South East District, Saket Courts, be taken up for urgent hearing and the same be heard and disposed of on or before 15th July, 2020.

Copy of this order be communicated to the Presiding Officer in the

Family Court. Parties are directed to approach the Family Court for hearing of the petition. If required, the hearing can be conducted through video conferencing.
