% 04.09.2020 This application has been heard through video conferencing. CRL. M.A. 11863/2020 in BAIL APPNL. 1106/2020 This application has been filed seeking extension of the interim bail granted to the applicant by the order dated 18.06.2020 and subsequently extended by the order dated 16.07.2020.
It is asserted in the application that the condition of the applicant has not improved and he has been advised to follow up on the treatment. The medical reports placed by the applicant have been duly verified by the respondent.
The learned APP, however, submits that though the applicant complied with the conditions imposed for grant of bail in the order dated 18.06.2020, he did not do so during the period of extension of the bail granted pursuant to order of 16.07.2020.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this was due to
inadvertence and an oversight on behalf of applicant. He tenders his apology on behalf of the applicant.
As the medical reports of the applicant have been verified by the State, I see no reason not to extend the Interim Bail granted to the applicant by a further period of 45 days, subject to strict compliance of the conditions imposed by the order dated 18.06.2020.
The application is allowed in the above terms. A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent electronically for compliance.
