At the outset, learned counsels appearing for the parties state that a Settlement Agreement dated 19.05.2026 has been arrived at between the parties and, in terms of the said Settlement Agreement, a sum of Rs. 3 lacs has already been received by the petitioner (first party). It is stated that, in terms of the Settlement Agreement, a further sum of Rs. 1 lac will be paid to the petitioner at the time of withdrawal of the SLP. The Settlement Agreement has been taken on record and the parties are directed to remain bound by the terms of the settlement arrived at between them. 2.
