This petition has been filed with the following prayers: (i) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, thereby directing the respondents to provide the petitioner a copy of the ROE proceedings conducted vide order dated 06.02.2023, annexed at ANNEXURE P 1. (ii) Pass any other order or directions in view of the abovementioned facts and circumstances which may deem fit and proper and in the interest of justice.

Though learned counsel for the respondents submits that there is no rule under the BSF Act and the Rules made therein for providing the copy of the ROE proceedings for a case which has been summarily disposed of, but it is a conceded position that those ROE proceedings have resulted in the punishment of reprimand on the petitioner.

It is the submission of Mr. Bhargava that the petitioner intends to challenge the penalty of reprimand imposed on him for which he requires The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the ROE proceedings.

If that be so, the ROE proceedings shall be given to the petitioner within four weeks from today.
