+ W.P.(C) 3340/2020 ANJALI COLLEGE OF PHARMACY & SCIENCE ..... Petitioner Through Mr.Aseem Mehrotra, Adv.

versus ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION ..... Respondent Through Mr.Anil Soni, Standing Counsel with Mr.Devesh Dubey, Adv.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAYANT NATH

O R D E R

% 08.07.2020 This hearing is conducted through video conferencing. This order is passed subsequent to the earlier order dated 03.06.2020. Learned counsel for the respondent/AICTE states that TER charges are to be refunded to some of the pharmacy colleges for the Academic Session 2020-2021. He submits that this process got delayed on account of the present pandemic and shortage of staff. He states that refunds are being processed.

Let the respondent/AICTE refund the amount due to the petitioner college within one month from today.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner college submits that this court should also award interest on the delayed payment. Keeping in view the explanation given by the learned counsel for the respondent/AICTE, in my opinion, delay has been explained. Hence no interest needs to be awarded.

Nothing further survives in this petition. The same is accordingly disposed of.

JAYANT NATH, J.
