The present writ petition has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of four weeks to carry out necessary repairs in his house which is in a dilapidated condition, and to attend marriage of his brother-in-law which is scheduled for 07.05.2026. 4.

In view thereof, the concerned authority is directed to decide the application of the petitioner, pending before it regarding grant of parole, within a period of two weeks, while also considering the present petition as a representation, under intimation to the petitioner. 6.

Copy of this order be forwarded to the concerned Jail Superintendent for information and compliance.
