The instant petition is for the following reliefs:- "a. Issue a suitable Writ, Order or Direction thereby quashing the Impugned Order dated 06.02.2026 passed by Respondent No. 2; b. Issue a Writ, Order or Direction directing payment of enhanced maintenance to the Petitioners, commensurate with the present cost of living and medical expenses to each Petitioner; c. Issue any other writ/order/direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the present case." 2.

Since, there is an alternate remedy available against the order dated 06.02.2026 by way of an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner/ Appellate Authority under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the Rules made thereunder. 4.
The petitioners are, therefore, directed to avail the said remedy before the Appellate Authority.

If the petitioners do so, let the appeal of the petitioners be decided by the said Authority with due expedition.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of. Pending application also stands disposed of. 7.
