The present application has been filed in a petition that was decided on 08.08.2017, stating inter alia that the petitioner has been verbally informed that his candidature has been rejected by the BSF after his reexamination for verifying his medical fitness, but no written intimation has been received from the respondents so far.

Notice. Mr.Anurag Ahluwalia, CGSC for UOI accepts notice and states that he may be permitted to obtain instructions to ascertain the status of the re-medical examination of the petitioner in terms of the judgment dated 08.08.2017.

Having regard to the submission made by the petitioner that the respondents have not communicated the decision taken after the petitioner's medical re-examination so far, the present application is disposed of by directing the respondents to convey the decision on the petitioner's candidature, to the subject post after his medical re-examination, within one week.

If aggrieved by the decision so taken, the petitioner shall be entitled to take legal recourse, as advised.

The application stands disposed of.
