Notice is accepted by learned counsel appearing for the respondent who assures that decision on the question of the provisional release shall be taken by the Competent Authority within a period of four weeks from today. 4.

In view of the above, Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Appropriate Authority to decide the request of the petitioner for provisional release of seized gold in accordance with law within a maximum period of four weeks.
