This is a petition filed under section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for publishing the Arbitral Award. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 21.03.2025. 2.
It is stated that during the arbitral proceedings, the respondent introduced certain new documents, because of which the delay has occurred. 3.
Mr. Jha, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause for the delay has been shown. 5.
In this view of the matter, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 6.
The period from 21.03.2025 till today stands regularised. 7.
The petition is disposed of.
