The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of eight weeks from the date of his release. 6.
Mr Rajesh Mahajan, learned ASC appearing for the State submits that the petitioner was directed to be released on parole by an order dated 16.04.2019 passed by this Court in W.P. (Crl) 147/2019 captioned Vinod
Kumar v State. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioner was released on 23.04.2019. He was required to surrender on or before 22.05.2019 but did not do so and jumped the bail. He was arrested on 07.12.2019, that is, almost eight months after the date of his release.
7.
Considering this conduct of the petitioner, there is little scope of entertaining the present petition. The same is, accordingly, dismissed. VIBHU BAKHRU, J JUNE 05, 2020 pkv
