Let the copy of this petition be served upon Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pathak who on our request appears for respondent no.3/Competent Authority for Land Acquisition.

The award in respect of the subject land was made on 02.09.2019. It is the case of the petitioner that the compensation pursuant to the said award has yet not been made. It appears that on account of some dispute between the petitioner and his brother regarding apportionment, payment could not be made.

The petitioner appears to have already approached the respondent no.3 seeking payment of the compensation.

In the aforesaid view of the matter, this petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.3 to take a final decision in respect of the issue relating to the payment of compensation to the petitioner. 5.

The decision under this order shall be taken within a period of four weeks from the day a certified copy of this order is produced before him. 6.

We further provide that in case the amount to be paid to the petitioner has yet not been deposited by the NHAI, the same shall be deposited within a period of two weeks from today, if there is no legal impediment. 7.

Once the decision on payment to the petitioner of the compensation is made by the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition, the amount shall be disbursed within three weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations and directions the petition is disposed of.
