This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 1 year.

It is stated that the issue raised in the arbitration proceedings are complex in nature requiring filing of detailed affidavits. 3.

Issue notice.

Ms. Akshara, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown. 6.

Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by 1 year from today. The period from 30.03.2025 till today stands regularised. 7.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
