% 11.04.2019 The writ petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of parole for a period of two months for treatment of his minor son namely Himanshu.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the State.

Perusal of the record shows that the petitioner was granted parole on 22.01.2019 for a period of four weeks and thereafter, the petitioner's parole was extended from 14.02.2019 to 14.03.2019 and from 08.03.2019 to 12.04.2019. The extension of the last parole which comes to the end on 12.04.2019 was sought on the ground that the surgery of son of the petitioner is to take place.

The medical documents/prescription issued by Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Mangolpuri, Delhi-83, have been got verified. As per the verification report given by Dr.Sanjay Sharma, M.S. (Surgery), FMAS, FIAGES, Specialist & HOD Surgery, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, the patient/petitioner has not been advised for any surgery by Dr.Vivek Pratap of Surgery Department. In view of the above verification report, no ground for extension of parole, is made out. Hence, the same is declined. The petitions stand disposed of.
