O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted under Article 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 615/2009 registered under Sections 147/148/149/308/34 IPC at Police Station Shakarpur, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, a quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent nos.2 to 9. 3.

Learned APP for the State submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent Nos.2 to are the only complainant/victims. It is further stated that the chargesheet has also been filed under the aforesaid sections.

amicably settled their disputes vide Compromise/Settlement Agreement dated 17.03.2024. In terms of the settlement, respondent Nos. 2 to 9 are now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners. 5.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent Nos. 2 to 9 state that they have entered into the aforementioned Compromise/Settlement Agreement out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

It is informed that cross FIR being FIR No. 614/2009 registered under Sections 147/148/149/308/452/34 IPC at Police Station Shakarpur has also been quashed today vide CRL.M.C. 2693/2024.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to payment of cumulative cost of Rs.25,000/- to be deposited by the petitioners with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (Account No.:18580110053263, UCO Bank, Branch: Rouse Avenue, IFSC: UCBA0003364) within a period of four weeks from today.
