% 20.02.2017 It is submitted that respondent no. 2 and petitioners have settled their disputes amicably vide Settlement Deed dated 10th January, 2017.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Naresh Kumar, P.S. Safdarjung Enclave. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She has already received `5 lacs from the petitioners out of the total settled amount of `17.5

lacs.

Remaining settled amount of `12.5 lacs has been paid by the petitioners to the respondent no. 2 today in Court, vide a demand draft bearing no. 456518 dated 18th January, 2017 drawn on State Bank of Patiala, New Delhi Branch. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, FIR No. 118/2016 under Sections 420/506 IPC registered at Police Station Safdarjung Enclave, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
