By way of the present petition under Section 24 read with Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (CPC), the petitioner seeks transfer of divorce petition being HMA 368/2021 entitled "Harpreet Kaur @ Silky vs. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu @ Sunny" presently pending before the learned Family Court, Shahdhara, Karkardooma Courts, New Delhi to the learned Family Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that another divorce proceedings being HMA 380/2018 entitled "Gurpreet Singh Sandhu @ Sunny v. Harpreet Kaur @ Silky" inter se the parties was/ is already pending adjudication before the learned Family Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi and the respondent in the year 2021 filed the divorce petition for which the present transfer is sought.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since both the parties are seeking divorce, it is in the interest of justice as also in the interest of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. parties that both the proceedings be jointly adjudicated. 4.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that he has no objection if the present petition is allowed and the relief qua transfer of the aforesaid petition is granted.

As such, without prejudice to the averments made by the petitioner and in view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for respondent, the present petition is allowed and HMA 368/2021 titled "Harpreet Kaur @ Silky vs. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu @ Sunny" presently pending before the learned Family Court, Shahdhara, Karkardooma Courts, New Delhi is transferred to the Court of the learned Family Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, with a direction to commence the proceeding(s) thereof from the stage which it was before. 6.

The learned Family Court, Shahdhara, Karkardooma Courts, New Delhi is directed to send the entire record pertaining to HMA 368/2021 titled "Harpreet Kaur @ Silky vs. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu @ Sunny" to the Court of the learned Family Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. 7.

A copy of the present order be sent to Court of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Shahdara, Karkardooma Courts, New Delhi, and the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, for information and compliance.
