The hearing was conducted through video conferencing. 2.

Petitioner, by this petition, seeks implementation of order dated 01.05.2020 whereby the respondent was directed to appoint petitioner forthwith to the post of Assistant Professor in the English Department on ad-hoc basis till such time the vacant posts are filled up through regular appointment and the respondents were directed to issue appointment letter within one week. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the appointment letter has been issued today in the morning.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the appointment is delayed and not within one week of the order, however, he, under instructions seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 6.
