The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent/MCD to accept the Demand Draft of Rs. 18,50,030/- towards conversion charges due to the petitioner.

Mr. Manchanda, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that the aforesaid amount has been communicated to the petitioner by the officials of the respondent/MCD.

Mr. Mittal, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD, submits that pursuant to the show cause notice dated 6th March 2026, a reply has been filed by the petitioner and a hearing has been scheduled for 28th April 2026 at 2:30 PM.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of, while directing the petitioner to appear for the personal hearing on the aforesaid W.P.(C) 5549/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The hearing shall be granted by the respondent/MCD to the petitioner on the said date and the amount of conversion charges shall be duly communicated.

Without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, the petitioner is directed to deposit the aforesaid Demand Draft with the respondent/MCD, who shall accept the same.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the parties are kept open. 8.

Pending application stands disposed of.
