O R D E R

The present bail application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking interim bail in FIR No. 75/2019 under Sections 21/61/85 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Nabi Karim.

On the last date of hearing, a detailed Medical Status Report was requisitioned from the concerned Jail as the earlier Medical Status Report did not indicate any details of the blood sugar levels of the petitioner. Subsequent to the last order, a Medical Status Report dated 07.07.2020 has been placed on record. A perusal of the same reveals that the same is in fact para phrased and typed from the previous medical status report. The report does not indicate the blood sugar levels of the petitioner except stating that the blood sugar is under control and the inmate is stable. 3.
Further, it has been stated in the Medical Status Report as follows:- "She is a known case of Diabetes and Coronary Artery disease (Heart patient) BAIL APPLN. 1168/2020
Her age and comorbid conditions put her under more risk of severe covid-19 infection".

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is 60 years of age and is not involved in any other case. Learned APP for the State confirms the same.

Keeping in view the aforesaid Medical Status Report of the Petitioner, the petitioner is admitted to interim bail for a period of four weeks on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of concerned Jail Superintendent/Duty MM, and subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of NCT of Delhi.
(ii) The petitioner shall not get in touch with the prosecution witnesses directly or indirectly and shall not make any effort to tamper with the evidence.
(iii) The petitioner shall remain available on mobile number 8510940746 which she undertakes to keep operational at all times.
(iv) The petitioner shall further remain in touch telephonically with SI Manmeet P.S. Nabi Karim on mobile number 7982757403 on every Monday and Friday.
(v) The petitioner shall surrender at the expiry of her release period.

With the above directions, the bail application is disposed of. 7.
A copy of this order be communicated to the concerned Jail Superintendent electronically.
