O R D E R

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:
"Issue a Writ of certiorari by quashing the order dated 05.03.2025 passed by the Respondent or any other writ, order or direction."

The grievance articulated in the present petition is that respondent University vide impugned order dated 05.03.2025 has taken following penal action against the present petitioner:
1) Suspension from the University with immediate effect for a period one full year i.e. two semesters (Winter Semester 2025 and monsoon semester 2025).

university for the said period of suspension. 3) Your conduct shall be observed closely and any violation of "the Code of Discipline for Students' shall lead to rustication from the University and refusal for further higher studies in the University for next three years as per the clause 'h' and 'c' of Disciplinary measures of the Code of Discipline for Students. 3.
Mr. Abhik Chimni, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that before passing such an order, the principles of natural justice, as contemplated in the Rules and Regulations of the respondent/University were not complied with. 4.
Notice in the present petition was issued vide order dated 02.04.2025 to the respondent/University when Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal, learned counsel appearing for respondent/University had sought time to seek instructions. 5.
Mr. Rupal, on instructions, submits that the respondent/University is withdrawing the impugned order dated 05.03.2025 with liberty to conduct de-novo enquiry in terms of the Rules and Regulations of the university against the petitioner. He submits that during the pendency of enquiry, petitioner can attend the classes. The statement is taken on record and the respondent/university shall remain bound by the same. 6.
Mr. Rupal further submits that petitioner along with his supporters had created ruckus in the university campus after the impugned order was passed and submits that there is a grave apprehension that the petitioner will again protest or resort to demonstration in illegal manner. 7.
In view of the above, no further orders are called for in the present petition. The petition stands disposed of.
