The hearing was conducted through video conferencing. 2.

Mr.Ajjay Aroraa, Advocate has filed the status report. Same is taken on record.

As per the status report it is contended that the action has been taken, qua the property of the petitioner, since the property was one of the properties which were subject matter of the proceedings before the Supreme Court of India in W.P(C) 4677/1985, M.C.Mehta vs. Union of India & Ors.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was constrained to file the present petition because respondent took Cont.Cas(C) 287/2020

substantial time in complying with the order dated 20.11.2019. He submits that the alternative accommodation as directed by the Supreme Court has not yet been allotted to the petitioner. He, however, seeks leave to withdraw the petition reserving his right to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 5.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. All rights and contentions of parties are reserved.
