This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:
"It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:- a) To issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent, DG CISF, New Delhi, to post the petitioner in his home sector units within any other NCR Units in terms of the circular dated 25.9.2017 as he is now in his fourth tenure of posting.
b) Quash and set aside the order dated 12.3.2024, 18.3.2024 and letter 22.3.2024 , qua the petitioner, wherein petitioner has been transferred from the present Unit of DMRC Delhi to MPA Mumbai Western sector after ignoring his entitlement to remain at any of the Home Sector Units. c) Direct the respondent to follow their policy guidelines while posting aged CISF personnel in Airport Sector Units. d) Direct the respondent to produce overall merit list of ASIs eligible for posting at North Sector units in terms of the circular dated 25.9.2017.

We have heard Mr. P. Sureshan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Anshuman, learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents.

Mr. Sureshan states that the petitioner shall be satisfied if this petition is considered as representation on behalf of the petitioner and is decided within four weeks from today.

Mr. Anshuman states that the respondents shall treat this petition as a representation and decide the same within four weeks as an outer limit. We make it clear that any decision to be taken by the respondents shall be binding on the parties.

Till such time a decision is taken based on this order, the respondents shall not insist upon the petitioner's joining the place of posting. 6.
The writ petition is disposed of.
