The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "Direct the respondents to immediately register an FIR under Section 387/506(2)/509 of IPC and Section 66E of the Information Technology Act, 2000"

The petitioner has already filed an application under Section 156 (3) Cr.PC. seeking similar relief and the said application is pending before the concerned Magistrate. The petitioner alleges that she was threatened by her ex-husband that he would circulate her obscene videos and photographs on
social media and other internet platform.

This Court is informed that the next date of hearing fixed before the learned Magistrate is 13.07.2020.

Considering that an application under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C seeking similar relief as prayed in this petition, is pending before the concerned Magistrate, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition. However, the learned Magistrate is requested to conclude the said proceedings as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of thirty days after 13.07.2020.
