O R D E R

% 10.06.2020 CRL. M.A. 7404/2020 (exemption) 1.

Exemption is allowed, subject to the condition that the petitioner will file the requisite court fee within 72 hours from the date of resumption of the regular functioning of this Court.

The application stands disposed of.

CRL. M.C. 1504/2020 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been filed with respect to the order dated 10.20.2020 whereby the petitioner was admitted to bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety of the like amount. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the order dated 02.06.2020, the petitioner filed an application seeking release only on the personal bond however, the same was dismissed. CRL. M.C. 1504/2020

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of financial condition of petitioner's mother, a resident of Bihar, could arrange an FDR, bearing No.947158 dated 08.06.2020 drawn on Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, Belauncha, Bihar in the sum of Rs.40,000/- only and pray that the reduced surety of Rs. 40,000/- be accepted.

It is further submitted that presently on account of difficulty in travelling to Delhi, the petitioner's mother is unable to furnish the surety in Delhi. He submits that the FDR be verified telephonically or through mail. Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, undertakes on behalf of the petitioner that the above referred FDR will not be encashed and as soon as the normal functioning resumes, the same shall be deposited with the concerned court alongwith the surety bond in the appropriate format. 5.

Notice. Learned APP for the State accepts notice. 6.

In view of the above submissions, the surety amount is reduced from Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 40,000/. The trial court shall accept the surety bond through e-mail, after due verification of the FDR. 7.

With the above directions, the present petition is disposed of. 8.

A copy of this order be communicated to the concerned trial court as well as to the concerned Jail Superintendent electronically for information and necessary compliance.
