Mr. Saurabh Kansal, learned counsel for the petitioner has made submissions based thereupon.

Mr. Avninder Singh, learned ASC for the State has also made submissions in the matter.

Mr. Singh submits that the State considers an application for 'emergency parole' as one seeking 'furlough'; whereas an application for 'parole' simpliciter is treated differently. 5.
In the circumstances, Mr. Kansal seeks leave to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file for parole, with a request that the same be considered within a stipulated time-frame. 6.
Accordingly the petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to file an application seeking parole before the Jail W.P.(Crl.) 894/2020 Page of
Administration, which will be decided in accordance with law within 02 weeks of filing.

The petition stands disposed of.
